Global BioAg Linkages was founded to connect all parts of the bioAg community across the globe. Guided by the belief in being globally local and locally global, GBL began identifying critical gaps in the agriculture ecosystem and worked to bridge them by accelerating the adoption of BioAg solutions. This marked the beginning of a purpose-driven journey to transform sustainable agriculture.

With a growing need for expert mentorship, GBL introduced BAW Advisory, an international alliance of over 20 global experts. It offered strategic guidance across go to market strategies, regulatory support, licensing and mergers, field trials and talent matchmaking. BAW Advisory became a trusted partner for BioAg companies ready to expand across borders.

The first BioAgTech World Congress was held in Delhi, India. It was uniquely built by and for BioAg professionals, with more 'By the industry, For the industry' creating a platform where thought leaders, innovators, and practitioners could come together to collaborate, share insights, and explore solutions. It was more than an event; it was a milestone that brought the BioAg industry under one roof.

To keep the BioAg community informed throughout the year, GBL launched BAW Digest, a first ever fully BioAg dedicated quarterly eMagazine and live news portal. It quickly became a trusted destination for real time updates, expert interviews, featured case studies, and innovation stories, offering valuable insights for the growing global BioAg audience.

Knowledge flow was identified as a major gap; hence GBL launched the BAW Academy to make certified learning more accessible to professionals around the world. With on demand and live training modules, the Academy offered practical, up to date knowledge tailored to industry needs. It became a trusted learning space for building expertise and leadership in BioAg.

By 2024, all four BAW BUs - BAW Advisory, BAW Congress, BAW Digest and BAW Academy were fully integrated and operational. This seamless ecosystem brought greater alignment, improved delivery, and a unified focus on innovation, business growth, and sustainable agricultural transformation.

At the sixth BioAgTech World Congress and Expo in Delhi, industry leaders came together with a shared vision. The community called for a formal, unified group to link all BAW and alliance partner services and foster deeper collaboration. In response, GBL formed the Global BioAg Alliance (GBA), a member-driven platform dedicated to strengthen engagement, amplify global voices, and shape the future of BioAg through collective action.
