Steven Hartmeier, the new business partner to the Primary BioAg Innovations (PBI) and Global BioAg Linkages (GBAL) family, has been commercializing new technologies to agriculture for his entire career. Steve has demonstrated success in leading agricultural biological and technology products companies from pre-commercialization to profitability. As Vice President of New Technologies at Crop One Holdings (COH), Hartmeier successfully commercialized COH technology on an accelerated timeline through new entity, Crop One Technologies. Prior to Crop One, he was President and CEO of mOasis, the leader in the use of aquamers to reduce water consumption and increase crop yields. mOasis was named on the original list as one of The 25 Most Innovative Ag-Tech Companies by Forbes.
Before mOasis, he led Vestaron (President, CEO and Director), Suterra LLC (President), Verdant Brands (Vice President of Commercial Products) and Consep (President). Hartmeier began his career in Sales and Marketing positions with Monsanto.
Steve is currently a judge for U.C. Davis Big Bang Business Competition, a member of the Economic Development for Central Oregon, Stable of Experts, and served on the Board of Directors of the Biological Products Industry Alliance (BPIA), the California Association of Pest Control Advisors (CAPCA) and the AGR Alumni Corporation. Hartmeier received his B.S. in Plant Science from University of California, Davis.
